Coolest bookshelf ever.

I’ve once again shamelessly stolen photos, this time from Deadly Computer (who, to be fair, stole their photos from Gizmodo, who has a nice collection of different angle shots, and Apartment Therapy, which is where you can read more about the house in which this staircase is located); but suffice to say that this bookshelf will be a part of whatever permanent home Brian and I choose.

I wonder what the building code has to say about building something like this? I’ll post the results after we get that question answered. Edit: The building code in the state of Washington says that the front line of the steps needs to be straight, and that the staircase needs a handrail. Other than that? It’s great!
